Do
This is the body armour. Usually made with a mixture of
composite modern materials and traditional materials, it is rigid
and shell-like with 4 himo (cords) attached. The top pair of himo
are crossed over opposite shoulders and tied in a slip knot
through the top loops seen in the picture. The shorter lower pair
of himo are tied in a bow round the back.
Do are often elaborately embroidered and brightly coloured, and
there are a number of patterns and colour schemes available.
The Do, like most other items of Bougou (armour) is usually
purchased as part of a full set rather than individually.
