Do

This is the body armour. Usually made with a mixture of composite modern materials and traditional materials, it is rigid and shell-like with 4 himo (cords) attached. The top pair of himo are crossed over opposite shoulders and tied in a slip knot through the top loops seen in the picture. The shorter lower pair of himo are tied in a bow round the back.

Do are often elaborately embroidered and brightly coloured, and there are a number of patterns and colour schemes available.

The Do, like most other items of Bougou (armour) is usually purchased as part of a full set rather than individually.
